Story Hike at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center

Join us at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center for a special Story Hike! All are welcome to enjoy a story and learn about hiking etiquette at the Reed Center before we set off on the Fox Creek Nature trail to explore the flora and fauna on the SERC campus. Observe fish and crabs in Fox Creek, oysters at the Marsh Boardwalk, and interesting insects in the woods.

This hike is 1.3 miles long and is not recommended for strollers. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Parking is limited at the Reed Center; please carpool if possible.
