Event Details

Join Kate Campbell Stevenson as she brings to life through song, monologue and movement How the Women Won the Vote and learn more about suffrage history. Featuring Abigail Adams, First Lady and early women's rights activist, Rose Crabtree, Council member of the 1920 All-Female Town Council of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Alice Paul, early 20th century suffragist and co-founder of the National Women's Party. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters, this presentation will teach the audience, especially women and young girls, how to become more active in the local, state and national political process.

Ms. Stevenson's presentation celebrates the 100th anniversary of both the founding of the League of Women Voters and the ratification of the 19th Amendment, granting all women the right to vote in the United States.
