Program Description

Event Details

In a forest near you, Eastern Screech Owls make their living catching mice, crickets, and worms. Meet one of these small owls in person and learn about its unique habits for survival. The more you learn about them, the more you will discover they are very much like you and me in their habits. But sometimes they can't find a home. What can our community do to change this? Join rangers from Patuxent Research Refuge to discover more about owls and their place in our local forests.

Important Notes:

This program will be held outdoors at the Maryland City at Russett library. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled and you will be notified via email by 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 26.

In order to maintain social distancing, registration is limited to 5 groups of up to 4 people in each group. Only ONE registration needed per group.
